so, who esle in these parts is an astronomy buff?

i've just gotten my first scope, nothing expensive a 1200mm Newt f9, threw out the cheap finderscope and am in the process of mounting an illuminated red dot sniper scope to it to give a larger fov and better accuracy, cause them black cross hairs are hard to see at night lol

i used to be, i wanted to get a telescope but could never afford one and my dad is cheap. i had to use his old one and it sucked. plus i could never see anything. i dont understand why they ruled pluto out as a planet

its a size issue with pluto. Jupiters moons are bigger than Pluto yet they are classified as moons. So they decided to downgrade its status.


check out ebay for newtonian scopes. there are descent ones on there for cheap
